Duck Feet are a functional chew treat with a specific nutritional purpose: natural joint support. Duck feet are rich in cartilage, which is naturally high in glucosamine and chondroitin — the compounds commonly added synthetically to joint supplements. Here, they come in whole food form, alongside the complete nutrient matrix of the food.
Unlike rawhide (which is indigestible, a choking risk, and often treated with chemicals during processing), duck feet are fully digestible. The bones in duck feet are small and soft enough to be safely consumed by most dogs and cats when chewed properly.
Most Singapore dogs and cats have been fed chicken and beef throughout their lives. Duck is a protein they are unlikely to have been exposed to — making it a "novel protein" that the immune system hasn't had a chance to develop a sensitivity to. For allergy-prone animals, novel proteins are an important tool.
Always supervise chewing. This is a chew treat, not an unsupervised toy. Suitable for small to large dogs and cats, but monitor especially for dogs that gulp rather than chew.
