Beef is one of the most broadly appealing proteins for dogs — the rich flavour and dense texture make it a consistent favourite across breeds and sizes. The dehydration process concentrates the natural beef flavour without any added flavouring or seasoning.
We use lean cuts to keep the fat content reasonable for daily use. The dense, chewy texture of dehydrated beef means animals typically chew it more thoroughly than softer treats, extending the eating time and providing a mild dental benefit.
Beef is naturally rich in iron (particularly haem iron, which is highly bioavailable), zinc, and B12. Higher in these minerals than poultry by a significant margin. A good choice for animals that may benefit from higher iron intake.
Beef is the second most common food allergen in dogs (after chicken). If your animal has unexplained skin issues or digestive problems and has been eating beef-based food, consider a beef-free trial period using Pork Tenderloin or Sweet Potato instead.
